Bully and refused to clean my teeth over pricey mouthwash!!!!! I had a very uncomfortable and unprofessional experience at this Ideal Dental location. They refused to perform a basic teeth cleaning because I did not want to pay $200 for a mouthwash that was supposedly required to numb my mouth during the cleaning. When I first came, I had two full coverage dental plans-my work insurance and my spouse's insurance. Initially, they verified both insurances, and for my first appointment, all the "required" treatment was not covered, so they had the form for CareCredit handy. After we both switched dental plans, no one in the office informed me that my new plan was not covered, and proceeded with the service, leaving me with a large bill. I have been to this dentist several times over the past year. I was scheduled for a cleaning, and waited in the chair for 2hrs before the dentist even came in to speak with me. My portion of the bill changed several times, I was asked to pay up front before returning for the actual services. My appointments were rescheduled several times due to dentist availability. It's impossible that this place genuinely has 4.5 stars. I've been with them for a few years (since before this was managed by Ideal Dental) solely out of necessity (they're one of few dentists open weekends). Expect to wait 1-2+ hrs after your scheduled appointment time no matter how on-time or early you arrive. Expect them to be pushy about scheduling your next appointment AND if you let them know you don't know your availability that far out, expect their system to schedule an appointment for you anyways. Ideal Dental Sunnyvale TX (part of DECA Dental Group) has been the worst dental experience I've ever had. If you're considering Invisalign, orthodontics, or cosmetic dentistry in the Dallas area, stay far away unless you enjoy unnecessary stress and broken promises. My Invisalign treatment was supposed to take months but stretched into years, filled with errors. I call around Winston Salem area for a dentist. I came across ideal dental. I spoke with Latrice she was very knowledgeable and polite on the phone. I told her I have been experiencing a toothache. I told her I was in a lot of pain. She said the hours are 8 am to 3 pm. Latrice told me I could come in as emergency walk in. I arrived on Friday morning I checked in by nine am .
