I had a kyphoplasty today. Dr. Hirsh explained everything and my procedure went well. My pain has already less. I thank him and the nursing staff for my excellent care.
From his experienced, thoroughly knowledgeable and friendly kind staff of nurse practitioners Marion and Teresa to the anesthesiologist Dr. Barragan-Bradford and the CRNA Jason, I knew I was in great hands. Immediately prior to my surgical procedure, Dr. Hirsch saw me and patiently took time to explain my procedure and show me on the computer screen exactly where my issue was and again explained what he was going to do. Dr. Hirsch did an amazing job in trying to help me deal with multiple fractures of my lower spine. He took the time to explain to me and even more time to my daughter who he went over the xrays with in detail and showing her what we were trying to accomplish. A real dr. amungst drs.
Most unprofessional doctor I have ever dealt with. The morning of my surgery he was in a bad mood as he lost his wallet and yelled at his nursing assistant, he yelled at me before operation,would not answer any questions and told me if I did not like it that I could get dressed and leave. My condition has gotten worse after his surgery. In the recovery room I had the Director of Nursing come to speak with me.
