Dr Joe is incredible at what he does. I had 2 unsuccessful embryo transfers with another OB and since have had 3/3 successful transfers with Joe. In addition to IVF, Joe has been my obstetrician for my last two babies, following the loss of my first son. He is not just incredibly skilled, but also puts everything he has into caring for his patients. As someone that has had a lot of loss, Dr Joe is just what my partner and I needed. Thank you Joe for being more than just a doctor. You have made such an impact on our journey.
I do not recommend Dr Joe based on our experience - I found him inattentive to (important!) detail, flippant in our interactions (both in person and by phone) and rushed. He spent more time during the phone conversation to me after I cancelled my pregnancy care with him than he did in the preceding 3 consultations, including when he told us we were in fact pregnant with multiples. If you have complex care needs, I suggest he is not the obstetrician for you. I changed to another obstetrician, and it was the best decision.
I had dr joe for my pregnancy after conceiving via ivf, and to say he was amazing is an understatement. Being a high risk patient he took every measure to make sure myself and my daughter were safe. When she was measuring small we made sure to do lots of scans and plenty of ctgs to make sure nothing was wrong with my daughter.
