Dr. Shull spends as much time with me as I need, is very knowledgeable, and answers my questions.
Dr is nice and funny, but not a great listener or very open minded. His ego is just as big as his belly. Hard is to take nutritional advise from an over weight Dr. But the worst part is the front desk staff and billing department. Rude, unpleasant and forgetful.
Dr. Shull is kind, funny and real. He will tell you how it is. He doesn't prescribe unnecessary meds and doesn't push things on you. My wife and I both use him as our PCP.

First impression was great! He was kind and understanding. After 2 more visits I dropped him like a hot potato. Arrogant, condescending jerk.
Dr. Shull and his nursing staff are WONDERFUL. If he doesn't know the answer, he has many options and is aggressive in finding someone who will help. The ease of getting in to see him is very helpful. The fact that he's around my age, is refreshing. While I am a patient, there is clear understanding that I am a person and my thoughts and questions are heard and answered.
We were going through a changeover in our insurance because my wife got a better job and he refused to see me for a physical until we had the new cards, even though I offered to pay for the visit out of pocket. His staff was passive aggressive about it and after I left I called a previous doctor that was out of network that I originally wanted. I chose to pay cash for a good doctor than settle for one that my insurance company chose.
