I have anxiety with anything medical. Dr. Hellman helped me feel at ease and was/is very knowledgeable, explained things to me, answered questions without making me feel like they were silly. I felt that he cared and showed empathy. He set clear and proper expectations for my surgery and was upfront about all possibilities and outcomes of my surgery. He completed my thyroidectomy and the incision looks great, he made his round with me and explained next steps. I couldn’t have been more pleased with his service and expertise.
