Dr. Taverni was my doctor for over 10 years and I miss him dearly. I do not know where he is now, but I do know he's not practicing in an office at the moment. Trying to find him. He was the absolute best, hands down. He was thorough and very smart. To Charles Conover, the person who complained about the EMG - there is absolutely nothing you need to do before this test - no prep at all, and it does NOT take 90 minutes, as I've had this test done a couple of times. VERY SMART, VERY THOROUGH, THE BEST, SOMEONE WHO WILL GET RESOLVE ON MATTERS THAT MANY, MANY OTHER DOCTORS GIVE UP ON (SHAMEFULLY) HE HAS MOVED, I CANNOT FIND HIM, I NEED HIM!!!1 WHERE IS HE???
I highly recommend considering another doctor. Went for minor back issues. Gave me samples of Duexis along with card from from some pharmacy in Queens where he said I could get the medication cheap. Like his uncle was selling it or something. Strange. I have great insurance that covers most medications. Then after MRI I got at his advice I scheduled follow up and was then informed that I needed an EMG test. I scheduled it and afterwards looked it up and it turns out its a 90 minute test that involves needles, electrodes. The... read more
