I saw Dr Ilvento in July 2000 for palpitations that I had been having for over 30 yrs. and had increased in severity. No cardio Dr. had been able to pinpoint what caused them. He did an EP study on my heart and when I came to, he told me I had WPW syndrome and he was able to ablate the extra accessory pathway, even tho my aorta was on the opposite side of how it should of been. I have been seeing Dr. Ilvento for about 5 years due to arrhythmia. I've had the arrhythmia for a long time and felt insecure about what that meant for me. He's a specialist in that area and I feel confident in his advice. I'm able to rest easy now that he's explained that what I have is very minor and easily treated without surgery. He's very pleasant and so is his assistant and I never have to wait longer than 5 minutes when I arrive for the appointment.
He’s what you want your Doctor to be. I would feel very insecure if he were not part of my medical support group. A good and competent man who has invented procedures that the whole world now benefits from.
Dr Ilvento has diagnosed and treated my ab fib successfully over the past five years. The incidence and length of episodes have diminished over this time.
