I was sent for left sided pain. I had a CT scan and they found diverticulitis. Dr. Joseph Maklansky told me and called my doctor for me as I finished the exam and I was given antibiotics.
The office staff was rude and unpleasant as were the technicians. This practice is run like a bad clinic. The equipment looks old. The doctor never even came in. I would not recommend this to anyone
Saw me on a emergency basis and found out I had a obstruction and sent me to ER with films and a report in less than 90 mins.
The receptionists were cold and unpleasant to the patients, then went into a side room and had quite a jolly little party among themselves. The tech made no attempt to help me relax or to make me comfortable. The procedure, which I had had painlessly in the past, hurt. I never even saw the doctor. Then, when the report came in, I found out that they hadn't even finished the procedure, but billed me and the insurance company full price anyway.
Absolutely the worst treatment I've ever received from any radiologist. My mammogram took 5 minutes, tops. The technician was unprofessional and uncaring. In my opinion, this office should have its license to practice medicine revoked.
Not sure why my last review of him was deleted. This is a horrible doctor with a horrible bedside manner. I wouldn't recommend him to my enemy. He was short and I was still in the process of asking him questions when he just left the room. Terrible bedside manner.
