Very rude. Does not treat patients or their families with any respect. Comes across like he knows everything. If you ask a question or ask him to repeat something that he said, watch out he is not very nice at all. Lacks patience and empathy. Does not listen to the patient or family members with the patient. The sad thing is like others have mentioned in their reviews he just keeps treating people this way. Avoid this doctor!!!

dr. haluska is very unproffesional and just got censured for treating patients poorly at st. joe's hospital in elmira ny. very rude and uncompassionate, i wouldnot recommend him to my worst enemy. he also has malpractice cases in ohio and n.y. agaist him.
If not for this doctors knowledge of non typical symptoms my mother would not be alive today.
this doctor was very caring and helpful each of the two visits i was seen in the er, for two different reasons. he was brief but to the point, he did not pump the medicare with uneccessary tests or long stays, and he made appropriate use of medicines, giving me samples when possible for medicines not covered by my insurance. he does converse brusquely with other staff, but i did not perceive him as rude or arrogant. he actually made an effort to keep me in an er bed until my ride home arrived, and when the staff instead disc... read more
Dr. Haluska is a very rude and arogant man. He treats the patients he sees in the emergancy room with no respect. He doubts patients when they try to explain to him what is going on and he talks to the nurses and other staff members basically the same way. I have conversed with several other individuals and everyone has the same concensus about this doctor.
