My husband recently had a brain shunt put in by Dr. Scogna. He was very nice when we first went to him and the operation was done. However, upon our return visit after surgery, Dr. Scogna rushed us through the visit. He never asked how my husband was feeling. We were left with questions. We felt he was very dismissive. He had a host of people who all had the same appointment time as we did. Today we went to our family doctor and it turns out, this doctor missed one staple he left in my husband's head. Early on very good. Now needs to stay away from needles and knives. Beware.
A year ago my experience with Dr.Scogna was extremely pleasant, and I felt I was in very capable and above all professional hands.Before my surgery l couldn't walk and was in a wheelchair.My surgery went extremely well without any complications.I can walk,drive,do housework all thanks to Dr Scogna.I highly recommend him to anyone that needs spinal surgery.
Dr. Scogna practiced on me without consent. He utilized a contraindicated device and another device off label. I am constantly in pain, nerve damage, and I can no longer work. He is out of date with current techniques and even his own friends/witnesses admit they would never perform the surgery he performed on me. STAY AWAY!
My experience with Dr. SCOGNA, was extremely, pleasant,and I felt that I was in very capable,and proffesional hands. My surgery went without any complications, and I was made very comfortable, after surgery. Dr. Scogna is truly a profession in his field of Neuroscience . He's very pleasant and takes the time to answer all your questions, and fears. I highly recommend him,to anyone that needs back or neck surgery. I had a very pleasant and proffesional experience with Dr. Sconga.
