I took a proactive approach to screening for prostate cancer beginning at age 45. Dr Marquez unfortunately gave me terrible advice, recommended tests to maximize the revenue of his clinic (that were never going to find prostate cancer - e.g. an excruciatingly painful cystoscopy in his office with no proper anesthetic), misdiagnosed me with BPH, the list goes on. Dr. Marquez is the best person to work with to properly diagnose any problem with your prostate. He has excellent palpation skill! I, as a 26 year massage therapist, was duly impressed with his ability to discern a possible problem with a one minute exam. (He told me from my exam that it was a little rough on the right side) He is very knowledgeable and a great problem solver based on stories from other men who were treated by him. Dr.Joseph C Marquez made a highly sensitive biopsy interesting and easy. I was expecting much worse and felt hardly nothing. No issues with bleeding or anything afterwards, I felt normal with no pain. Much easier then I was expecting. Jon B, RN was exceptional in caring and calming Me. He is a great asset to the clinic and very professional. Together they are Superheros for those who need to go through a very nerve wracking sensitive procedure.
