I can't express enough gratitude for the exceptional care my son received at PNH under Dr. Slakey's care. His dedication made all the difference, and I genuinely preferred the Orthopedics at Portsmouth over any Children's Hospital we encountered during our military transfers.
My daughter walked on her toes all her life. We saw 8 different orthopedics (I am talking nationally known civilian doctors at CHOP and other Major hospitals) and she had a surgery at age 4 that didn't work. When she was 14, we say Dr. Slakey who was a Godsend. He successfully corrected her toe walking with surgery. She is now 17.5 and walking normal with minimal pain. I will forever be grateful.
Well where can I began about this horrific doctor who has ruined my life and most of all my sons . He is charming and wonderful to meet as a doctor ! But his work is crippling and barbaric. My son had at least 4 surgeries and 30 with other doctors for pain where he RUINED him . Well now that he is crippled from Dr Slakey ………. And has recently had a Medtronic pain device inserted in his spine due to Stakey’s ignorance and non qualified education he thinks that he is a surgeon lol he is not.
