Saved my life!
Dr Cook is great, but his office staff is absolutely terrible. They don't answer the phone when you call, and when you DO get a hold of them, they don't follow through with whatever you need. Good luck getting meds refilled, or god help you if you actually want to talk to your doctor - the staff just doesn't seem to care.
I have been a patient of dr cook for years and his office has always been great but recently I have had nothing but trouble with his staff. I cannot get ahold of anyone no matter how often I call. And I have been leaving messages with his nurse for days to renew my mother’s heart meds and she assures me she will call them in. This is the First Doctor, And Staff, to listen and actually understand all of my husbands issues. He made out a game plan to address each one. We have never felt at such peace, leaving a Doctors office, knowing we will be taken care of in the long run.
Dr. Cook is very thorough. Spends time trying to find out about you, your health and a a way to help you. His nurse is very nice. All staff I have encountered have went out of their way to assist you. I highly recommend him!
Terrible service!! DO NOT SEE THIS DOCTOR. Scheduled appointment to see him as a new patient- Firstly took about 2 1/2 months to get in. Then had to cancel due to a family emergency (Called 24 hours ahead of time) and i was banned from office.... however i still get reminder calls every 6 months to schedule appointment and they wont take me off list. Receptionist staff was extremely rude and uncaring.
FINALLY! I had been "settling" for a tuned-out doctor but Dr. Cook found out more about me and my life than me previous doctor of 6 years. He listens, he ASKS, he informs and he cares. Love the staff too which is half the battle. No long waits, very accomodating. Best choice I've made in a while!
I've been a patient of Dr. Cook for three years. I could not be happier. Wait-time is minimal. His nurses are grade A+. His bedside manner is professional and friendly. His exams are thorough. He is considerate of my pocketbook. And, he takes the time he needs to explain symptoms, procedures, and results in terms that even I can understand. His front office prints out a detailed summary of my visits that's ready by the time I've scheduled my next visit (it's also available online).
Was highly impressed.First time there and I really liked him.Would highly recommend.
