Very dismissive of my chronic pain and experiences. I went to Dr. Acosta for a 6 year long headache that never goes away. He said I didn’t know what real pain was, and to wait until I was 60. Dr. Acosta gave me “homework” to get a better sleep and wake schedule. When I mentioned not always being able to get out of bed on severe bad pain days, he said I actually could.
