Delay in timely treatment, resulting in 25 lb weight loss, in one month. Loss of work and other daily activities. Smug, response to requests for lab tests to confirm treatment. Never apologized or was empathic with lab test came back positive.
Long gone are the days of a doctor and staff that has a family feeling and personal care like Dr Jose Arias-Vera. I felt heard, listened to and explained in plain and simple terms, given sensible advice and options and ultimately was able to help me tremendously with a complex and misunderstood brain injury/illness. I know he is not a neurologist but he is a well rounded health professional, if he cant help you, he will point you in the right direction.
