Now that I have moved to the eastern shore. It seems like I will be forced to find a new Rheumatologist. This is not good because my experience with Dr. Pando was bad to say the least. The receptionist hung up on me today, lol. I haven't been seen by Dr. Pando in almost 5 years so I had to go through the new patient process again (which takes about a month BTW.) It's apparently only 7 business days upon receiving all of the necessary information, but I assure you it was much longer. Anyway, today she tells me that they have something mid-April available and I respond, "okay I actually might look into other practices and see if they have something sooner, but thank you so much and have a good day." I called this clinic a month ago to find out what I needed to get an appointment set up. I had my current primary care send in a referral and had my full medical history sent with everything they asked for. I called them a week later and they said they haven't received it. The person on the phone told me to check with my doctor to be sure it was sent (everything was) and call back if I haven't heard from them about setting up an appointment in two weeks. Hard to get an appointment no body trying to help
Dr Pando has been my Arthritis doctor for two yrs. His compassion and skills have been a blessings to me. Under his care my arthritis and pain have been completely controlled. God bless you Doctor Pando your awesome!
