i went to get an assessment of my tmj and ended up getting all 4 wisdom teeth extracted. was not given proper after care instructions, nothing to irrigate it. have had over 5 infections since with no real explanation, and after getting second opinions was told that the site of the extraction was left completely open and wasnt properly cleaned to prevent gum overgrowth. its been 4 months since i went to him and now i need to get surgery to remove the gum and reshape my jaw bone. the staff was condescending, gave no explanatio... read more

I went for an extraction with a referral from my Primary Dentist. I was asked ti pay $281 and I said my insurance covered the extraction. They told me they were going to review it. The doctor saw me and told me that I needed an extraction indeed and explained the several implant options I could have. I said I just wanted the extraction and he told me that it had to be another appointment and that I was going to receive plans which after 12 days I never had. The staff is rude and incompetent. We had fax a referral to their office and we had to call back to check if it had arrived. On the day of the appointment, 20 days later the staff review the form we had to fill out online and the referral we had fax. Just to tell us that the was not the correct referral. Why didn't they check it the day we sent it and let us know it was the incorrect referral. Dr. Montero and his office staff are terrific. He has such a wonderful bedside manner and takes a lot of time explaining his findings with you, and answers any questions you may have, you will never feel rushed. Before finally finding him, I suffered with horrible jaw pain for years with little to no help by other dr.’s, I am happy to say that I am 6 weeks post op and I can finally say that I feel really good again! My experience with the doctor and office staff was extremely positive! Dr. Montero took his time and thoroughly explained the problem I was having and patiently answered all of my questions. All the staff is very professional and, although I was under some very tight time constraints, was able to accommodate me to my fullest satisfaction. Erika’s phone manner is very professional and she has always responded to my queries in a timely manner. It’s not very often that one sees such professionalism in an office.
Bad experience. With the sfaff at baptist office. Doctor prescribe wrong medicine. Patient is very allergic. Erica and germaine the. Office manager were very rude.unprofessionally.
