He examined me for maybe 5 minutes if that and immediately said every problem I have is because I am overweight. One of the reasons I went there was unexplained weight gain-60 pounds or so in a year. Won’t come off, a number of other issues. Asking to be checked for insulin resistance, pcos, other underlying issues to help find a way to get back to a better me. Dr Jose Ortiz has been treating me for several years. I am completely satisfied with his level of expertise. If I could give him starts I would have. He is one of my favorite doctors.
Been trying to get an appointment for 2 weeks now. Am being told I have to email my records so I can be approved to be seen. Since when do you need an approval to see a dr? Haven’t been successful in getting email sent. I have tried several times
Went there for a couple of years and only seen him on my first visit. I paid to see him but only seen the nurse practitioner. Then he declined to treat me anymore because I rescheduled my appointment more then once. That was fine with me being I never seen him anyway. I feel that was very unprofessional.
