Dr. Marcos completed a root canal on a tooth that had 4 roots. I believe he is a good endodontist but the Greenberg Dental office can be difficult to contact. Here is my experience. 1/30/23 - Visited general dentist in Middleburg for a toothache. Dentist said I needed a root canal and referred me to Dr. Marcos. Dentist also prescribed me antibiotics, but that alone did not resolve the tooth infection. My gum above the infected tooth started to swell. 2/20/23 - Initial visit to Dr Marcos. I would not recommend him to anyone. Waited a month to see him for my daughter’s root canal evaluation and he was beyond rude to the dental assistant. It appeared as if he questioned her ability to take proper xrays and continued to drill her about the xrays being incorrect right in front of me & my daughter. How unprofessional. I would NOT recommend Dr. Marcos! He is beyond unprofessional, if I could give him negative stars I would! My 12 yo daughter was referred for a root canal from a traumatic injury to her front tooth. She was unsure and a bit scared of the procedure. Instead of trying to explain the procedure to her and ease her worries he bullied her in an authoritative manner and when she disengaged from the conversation…he said I’m not working on her! Did my Anterior root canal with no problems. Highly reccomended.
I do not recommend Dr. Marcos at Greenberg Dental. He does not respond to calls to schedule appointments even though I indicated on the voicemails that I was in pain. I saw Dr. Marcos today for a root canal consultation. His response after examining me was “it doesn’t matter to me whether you get a root canal or not.” This was a very unprofessional response and indicated to me that a root canal truly wasn’t necessary. It’s unfortunate that Greenberg Dental employs this doctor for specialty care.
