Dr. D takes his time with you to understand everything that is happening. Goes out of his way to make sure you are good and everything is being followed up. He researches for all possible recommendations. I do recommend him to everyone!
I’ve had asthma my entire life, but recently started having severe attacks that just wouldn’t improve. For the first time, I saw a pulmonologist — Dr. De Dios — and I’m so thankful I did. He took his time, really listened to my symptoms and history, adjusted my medications, changed my steroid inhaler, and ordered a pulmonary function test right away. Finally referred to Yale. FOUR years of 10 min visits, worsening condition and being told Im "stable"...but things noted otherwise and a MA even telling me to get another opinion...Sad.
My previous Pulmonologist retired and I thought I’d be lost without her. Fortunately Dr. De Dios is also wonderful! He listens to my concerns, is very professional and intelligent. I have bad asthma and I trust him completely and would highly recommend him.
