I will say after reading the reviews I definitely caused myself more anxiety going in to my appointment/follow up than necessary. If Dr Aswald is judged by the fact that he is extremely knowledgeable, having a lot to say about all contributing factors, & being very to the point - then yes he can come across as being abrupt. The most condescending and obnoxious doctor I have ever met. Started with him congratulating me on having the poorest heart monitor test he had ever seen. Indicated that it was my fault. Said one electrode didn't give any results at all. Then started lecturing me about smoking pot. Said I don't then lecture me on edibles. Ignoring me when I said I don't use at all. Dr. Aswald is very reassuring. I didn't feel at all rushed. He explained everything and patiently answered all my questions.
Deadwood seems like a good doctor but his secretary is extremely rude , I have never been talk to the way she talks to patients and their spouses by a doctors office before. He needs new office staff and I will be speaking to him about how ignorant and rude his secretary is when we see him. Not only is ut impossible to actually have someone cal you back but when you finally talk to some one they treat you like dirt.
