Had heavy menstrual bleeding for several years and was referred to Dr. Choi. I had fibroids and a tipped uterus. He blamed my weight, my lack of pregnancies, and prescribed hormonal birth control without performing a baseline blood test to check hormone levels. The pills made me bleed more, and after I stopped taking them, I bled for 10 more days. In '17 & '19 Chio delivered my babies. Both were terrible & torture. So bad, that I decided 3rd would be different, she was born 100% natural with midwives at a birth center, WITHIN ONE HOUR! Let me explain. My 1st born was in '17 with Choi & I guess I was naive & trusted everything the 'doctors' recommended. He recommended an induction only 2 days past my due date. I was induced at about 9pm & he was born at 1am the following day, so a 27hr labor! no rest, no food, no water, all you get is ice cubes & I was basically scared... read more
Horrible doctor, I'm currently 8 months pregnant and was pretty much called a liar by Dr. Choi. Every appt. was approx. 3 mins long, he is in and out with the same robotic questions. When I have a question he makes me feel stupid. Not going back to him!
I recently found out I was pregnant and after waiting 3 weeks for an appointment with Dr. Choi, I left his office feeling nothing but frustrated. His favorite thing to do was shove things up my vagina with no warning with gel that must've been kept in the freezer. He laughed when i showed him my recent labs saying no one would run that many tests on pregnant women. Disregarding my questions about the test results. His staff, however - SO helpful, SO sweet, ALL women. Coincidence? Won't be back.
He's not very informative!!! Just in it for the money.doesn't spend time explaining. Visits are 3 minutes tops once he gets in the room.
