This guy should not be speaking to anyone. His attitude is demeaning. I have never been spoken to by any doctor this way. My entire family left the office looking at each other in disbelief.
If I could leave zero stars I would. This practice, specifically Dr. Markowitz has lied and to me and my family. He recommends diet changes then back to medicine then back to diet. Which is it? He wants to do regular scopes - not for the health and sake of my child but to meet his quota and get his bonus. He will not listen to you. As a parent you are treated as if you know nothing. I have tow sons with eosinophilic esophigitus and on also have eosinophilic gastritis. Both boys have seen Dr Markowitz for years. I like that he listen to me and lets me make the final decision. I always ask what he would do. He takes his time. Not stuffy. Very well versed in eosinophilic disorders. I feel like we together plan my boys care. He is a dedicated doctor and so glad we have him in our medical care team.
