I recently had a parathyroid/thyroid surgery done by Dr. Lokey and was very pleased with the outcome. It's only been a month and my incision is barely noticeable. We moved to Greenville 2 yrs ago not knowing a soul, so naturally I was nervous about not only the procedure, but not knowing anyone to ask regarding opinions on doctors. The attention to detail and time spent with Dr. Lokey reviewing my health issues and planning out my care/treatment was excellent. His team was extremely helpful and supportive as well. I am glad to have them all taking care of me.
Dr. Lokey was a godsend! At my pre-op consult, he provided so much anticipatory guidance on what to expect, discussed strategies he uses to prevent post op complications, and allotted time for me to ask questions. On the day of surgery, he helped calm my nerves and reaffirmed my decision to have surgery. I had ZERO post-op complications. His NP Sierra provided me with all the info I needed to go home and heal. I saw them both for my post-op appointment and can’t thank them enough for the life they’ve given back to me.
