He is my current PCP and I am trying to find one that actually cares and listens. Terrible listening skills and my appointments always seem rushed. They try to keep your time within that 30-minute window they carve out for you and rush you when the previous appointment went on too long. Cut my pain meds I have been taking for over 20 years for neck fractures and many other issues, took meds the hospital gave me and he said it was against my contract? No it didn't they were prescribed by the hospital? Thanks for absolutely NOTHING Doc, I told my kids if I had to go downtown to look for pain meds and something happened to me to call my attorney which they will!
Very hurry. Not listen all questions. And not explain for everything. Don't know about all conditions and can not explain what problem I have.
I found Dr. Dykstra to be gruff, always appears rushed and have serious concerns with his medical care. I would not recommend him. His office staff is overall pleasant most of the time.
I have known Dr.Dkystra for well over a decade, and he is my trusted personal physician. He has always taken the time to listen and share with me...........I trust him and his judgments to the fullest. He has been a saving grace during diffiicult times for me.
