This review is watered down to be approved — our real experience was MUCH worse... For 1.5 yrs, my father saw this doc with severe pain, rapid weight loss of over 40 lbs, & serious GI issues. Instead of being taken seriously, he was brushed off, belittled, & denied tests he requested. I've been dealing with pain for over a decade. Was in the hospital for a week in March and have been on 5 rounds of antibiotics since. Diagnosed in the hospital with diverticulitis. Dr. Yung put diagnosis 'bellyache' on my discharge paperwork and told me that pain is a normal part of being a young woman, that he doesn't anticipate finding any answers or solutions to my abdominal pain and that clearly no one has missed anything in the last decade because I am quote 'Not dead yet'
Dr. Congeni was very considerate and did suggest anything that would risk my well being!
He’s excellent, also all the staff.
Dr Yung was very rude and not helpful at all! He told me that I looked healthy, still had my appetite and didn't have any weight loss so he was sure I was fine. He didn't even examine me. I would not recommend him to anyone! Three weeks after my appointment with him my daughter who also looks healthy, hasn't lost her appetite or lost any weight was diagnosed with stage IV colon cancer. I am still having problems and now have to find a new doctor.
Dr. Congini was quickly able to diagnose that there was bleeding in my stomach and cauterized it. After two days on clear liquids I was discharged from the hospital. The whole experience could have been so much worse, but thankfully this physician was on it!
He is a very nice Dr. Explains everything well and listens to his patient. Delivers excellent care!
A vey BAD experience! I won't go back to him and would'nt recommend ANYONE to him!!!!!!! It was a dead end street and he was rude!!! I wish I would 've read reviews first and would'nt have had an appointment with him!!!!! I wouldn't give ANY star if I would'nt have too!!!!!!!
He didn't even examine me on my first visit. He did tell me I was a joke because I took ibuprofen. He also told me because I wasn't fat, there couldn't be anything wrong. I can barely eat at this point, so, I don't see gaining weight to be taken seriously as an option. An unclear ultrasound order was sent to Aultman, so, they didn't even image the problem area. Now I have to start over.
