He was able to diagnose her accurately and he appropriately escalated her care. My family found Dr. Houpt to be patient, confidently calm, direct, and caring in his own way. It is because he suspected something very bad to be the underlying cause of her condition, he correctly insisted to admit her. We are so grateful to have had him care for my mom.

I don’t like hospitals so going in to one was not my first choice. I appreciated how Dr. Houpt was direct at explaining the process and was more than willing to answer my questions. Thanks to him I was in and out in no time, despite long ER wait times.
