My symptoms returned in February 2024. Recognized the symptoms as similar to symptoms in 1996 when neurosurgeon at the University of Cincinnati removed a colloid cyst. In April 2024 Dr. Forbes at the University of Cincinnati confirmed a second colloid cyst in my brain at the same location as 1996. May 14, 2024 he re-resected the second colloid cyst. I have had two neck surgeries and since my second one has been I've been in severe pain I was ignored from Mayfield Clinic and my PCP was very dismissive regarding my neck (which I have a fracture) I thank God I didn't go through with the neurologist the PCP referred me to and I picked Dr. Jonathan Forbes because of his reviews I read and it was the best decision I made. I have been doubly blessed! Blessed that the tumor was found. Blessed that Dr. Jonathan Forbes was my neurosurgeon. I truly believe that Dr Forbes saved my mother’s life. Her story began with a wonderful endocrinologist who discovered my mom’s pituitary tumor after months of uncontrollable blood pressure that literally could have killed her. Dr Patel referred immediately to Dr Forbes who was hesitant at first to do surgery given moms age if 83 and many com morbidities but who took our concerns to heart . His bedside manner is impeccable. Dr. Forbes is an excellent surgeon. He performed a craniotomy on me and was present at my follow up appointment. He took his time and went over the procedure with me and answered every question I had. When I was admitted into the hospital I did not know him but he came to my room everyday before surgery. He is wonderful!!!!!
