I have been coming to this office since my first referral back in 2024, I have also only seen Dr. Docherty 2 apts, but I do see his FNP Pansi Patel and she does a great job on listening to my reports on the medications they prescribe to help with my pain that pain management next cant help with, and does her research diligently purposing a new medicine that may be the one to help with that pain. In the last almost 2 years of seeing Dr. Docherry I have only seen him twice. They set u up with their Nurse practitioner in between seeing him. I waited 5 months to see him on Monday however they called and said they had to cancel my appointment and the next appointment would be in November. That would be that I hadn't seen him since last September. Thats over a year to see your Doctor. I have 4 autoimmune diseases and would like to see my doctor more than once a year. After waiting to get an appointment with this Dr (which took 5 months with a referral from a Dr in his group) he preached at me for 40 mins then wrote me 4 prescriptions which amounted to about 40 pills a week. After taking these meds and returning to see his physician assistant who upped the doses of the meds which still didn’t work, they proceeded to tell me I might have to go out on short term disability. This is a hard review to make. I truly like Dr. Docherty. I seen him years ago before he got with Hope Health. He is a wonderful doctor. I wish he would get in practice with some other place besides Hope Health. I don't believe he gets his messages. Staff at Hope Health are not all that friendly. Medicine he wants you to be on doesn't get refilled. I guess I should review Hope Health, I would give them a 0 if I could. Dr. Docherty is a wonderful doctor.

It's so hard to get refills. Make sure that refills are sent to your pharmacy prior to leaving your appointment because it could take you up to 3 days or more before you get any return call or any scripts. I just saw Docherty on last Tuesday. I've waited, called back to the office 3 times before giving up. I should not have had to see my Primary Physician for my Lyrica Script on yesterday.
