This man is incompetent as a doctor. I told him I am a boxer and got my nose broken in sparring and he told me that I would be completely safe to spar again exactly 2 weeks after I broke my nose. That's INSANE. I do understand that he specializes in allergies and not like surgery, but I thought that because he IS an otolaryngologist he would have still been to med school, so he would still be competent enough to advise me on my situation. The front office /billing is terrible. They sent wrong codes to Quest and Medicare won't pay due to the wrong codes- Stay away, they don't even care enough to call Quest and fix this
Dr. Mai left us feeling like he thought we were a complete waste of his time. He dismissed all of my husband's complaints and twice has left us trying to find answers elsewhere.
Its been bugging me for weeks about my visit. After hearing from employees at this ENT place admitting he's had several complaints, I thought i should get the review posted My initial appointment with Dr Johnnie Mai resulted in it being my last. When he walked into the exam room his first words were 'wow, what's wrong with your face?' I explained that I'm paralyzed due to nerve damage when they removed my parotid gland due to cancer.
