I had a lower back fusion done in 1997 performed by Dr. Youngblood. He punctured my spinal fluid while doing the fusion. They knew right away when they got me up to walk the day after surgery so immediately put me back to bed. I remained in the hospital the rest of the week and on Friday he came in to tell me he had noticed a leak when he did the surgery, but thought it would seal itself.
