The doc takes everyone seriously as long as You Are if you come in just trying to get a pill pusher then walk the way he's not like that he will give you 110% as long as you show that you are serious and not just there to go through the motions, he had seen me several times before a couple years ago and did not even remember me but still treated me better than some of my older Family Physicians I had been a patient of for a while when I was a new patient with him.
No return calls or emails after 24 hrs - although promised - regarding bloodwork or follow up appts. Once I get my necessary meds - I’m looking for a better facility
Dr. Fenice and Mary High NP have been my medical providers for years. Yes ,sometimes there is a wait but that is with any doctor's office. I usually need FMLA paperwork to be filled out and Mary is always helpful with that. She and Dr.Fenice are very caring and knowledgeable. It is true that they have new office staff but Maxine who works out front is a sweet heart and tries her best to help. So they will continue to be my doctors.
I've been trying to reach Dr Fenice for the past 8 days. When I call the answering device picks up but when it goes through the options and I pick 4 to get someone it simply goes back to the beginning and repeats itself No one picks up!
Worst office I've ever been to. Staff extremely rude and uneducated. Can never get refills in timely manner. Each time I've gone I've spent at least 2 hours in the office. Once they held a staff meeting while we waited in the exam room. Refused to refill insulin medication until seen at office so asked to come in immediately to be seen to prevent becoming ill from diabetes. They refused and made appointment 2 days out. I was not overdue for a visit and have never misses an appointment.
I could recommend DR. Fenice to family or friends because I find that he is knowledgeable in most areas and ready to explore treatment and mitigation of medical problems. I have found that it is difficult to correspond with the doctor after an office visit due to the fact that his staff either is not forwarding my updates to him or he is not attending to them. I have asked twice to be invited to be placed on his on line portal but have not been invited or placed there yet.
If you go with this doctor..you will never see him you will see Mary high is a crappy nurse and no doctor I'm betting she as killed people she will not give my mom meds and she is very sick..SHE WILL KILL YOU!!!!!
Would never recommend Dr. Fenice to friends and family. They are never there when you need them. They say they will do things and they never do. His office staff is incompetent his answering service people are ignorant. Call them four days ahead of time to get prescriptions refilled which was never done. Insurance company has been calling them for over a week to schedule an MRI everyone refuses to call them. All it seems that he is interested in is the money not your care or your well-being.
Dr Fenice is a kind, thoughtful, funny, compassionate, and very intelligent doctor with a broad range of expertise. I appreciate the small practice - one MD, one PA, one NP, and a small, efficient staff, all of whom quickly come to know you. There are waits sometimes, but this happens in any practice. The scheduler won't know what issues the medical staff will need to explore with the patient. I'm reassured to know that the doctor will give me all the time I need, too. And he always does.
