I have been seeing Dr Cotter for 28 years (as well as Dr Sallavanti, his partner). He consistently provides excellent care. Even when I don’t like what he’s saying, I know he’s right and has my best interest at heart. The front desk staff are great. They are exceptionally friendly, and helpful. Drs Sallavanti and Cotter have built up a successful practice since 1998 because they both are so focused on their patients, and their staff are trained to be that way too
This doctor barely listens to my concerns. I have multiple health issues, but he seems not to care when I tell him how this affects my everyday life. He only cares about the test results. What happened to treating patients?
The best, most caring, most thorough, thoughtful family Dr. ( along with Dr. Sallavanti ) in lancaster county. The staff and nurses have always been friendly and caring ( at least for the past 25 + yrs. since I have been going ), and the wait time is normal for a family Drs. office.
This physician does not seem to care at all. It was my first visit. I heard good things about him, but he didn't take the time to learn about my history or health concerns. All he did was order a bunch of tests. I'd rather have a physician who treats me instead of treating blood work. While I agree that blood work is important, the blood was mine, and he took no interest in me.
I am fairly new to Dr. Cotter. He has done wonders for me, he listens to me intently, he is patient and answers all of my questions. He takes time to explain everything. The doctor that cared for me for many years had retired from a small office. I wanted to have that same one on one attention and I guarantee you that you will get that from Dr. Cotter. I cannot express how much he has helped me with all my medical needs. I also want to mention the staff/nurses are wonderful & always pleasant
Dr. Cotter always listens to my concerns and explains why he is making any recommendation.
I absolutely love Dr. Cotter, I started seeing him in my early teenage years and still see him now at 29. I moved away for a few years and could not wait to come back to see him again. He listens to everything you have to say, spends as much time as you need with him, which in turn will probably make your appointment run long, so try not to be frustrated if you are waiting a bit for him, he just takes his time. My entire family, and now my husband, all see him and we all love him.
I understand doctors like to see you before giving you a script- however- when you have he flu- live alone and are to sick to get out of bed refusing to recommend even an over the counter drug is not serving patients it serving your bottom line.
I felt this physician did not care at all about my health issues. I was forced due to insurance to find a new doctor and he barely listened.
