Dr. Touliatos ruined my life. While removing part of my thyroid, he cut into my vocal cord nerve, paralyzing one of my vocal cords. HE NEVER SAID HE WAS SORRY. He literally just said go home and sit on the couch for 9 months. All I could do was whisper. No one on the phone could hear me. I couldn't order through drive-up windows. My appointment had to be rescheduled several times. The team just seems dismissive in some encounters when you are expressing a concern. I really hope this is read and that they consider how to improve bedside manner at this facilities with Dr. Touliatos and staff.
I visited this doctor to investigate an abnormal CT scan of the soft tissue in my neck, along with another issue I was experiencing. During the appointment, a scope was used to examine my throat, and I was quickly told, “I don’t see anything—have a good day.” It was clear my concerns weren’t being taken seriously. I didn't care for this doctor at all. I went to see him because I had some concerns about some hoarseness that I have been having. My goal was to eliminate the hoarseness so that I can go back into one of my passions.....and that is singing. He did a nasal endoscopy and told me that there was a little irritation and that I had no nodules.
