I seen Dr. John Plante regarding catheterization. He immediately greeted me as he entered the room and asked me why I was seeing him. I immediately realized his bedside manner was absolutely horrible. I felt rushed the whole time and I feel like he really wasn't listening to me at all. I explained to him my reason of visiting and he didn't really understand. He did ask me a few questions but that didn't really help anything. Very pleased with Dr Plants and his staff.
Never go to Dr. Plante. He preformed painful and unnecessary treatment and diagnosed me with an issue in which I did not have. Ended up going to an excellent urologist at Northwestern in the city.
Poor beside manner, rushed, disinterested in answering questions,. He is either poorly trained or just doesn't care. Made no mention of my serious condition which will end my life early. Mayo Clinic found it in one day, but unfortunately for me it is now too late to reverse the damage. If Dr. Plante would have taken the time to properly diagnose my condition, i would not be in this condition. Not cancer...I could have been treated.
