Almost 20 years ago I went to see Dr. McLaughlin. Dx was Crohn's with mixed UC. I was having severe rectal pain. He wanted to perform a test that normally would not require anesthesia. Since my pain was so intense, he could not perform the test because I began to cry and told him to stop. He told me that the test was needed and that I could end up with a bag if I didn't allow him to do the rectal test. It was too painful so I left without the test. Dr John Mcglaughlin was very knowledgeable and confident when caring for my mother. He actually gave our family hope (when many others didn’t seem to know what to do for mom’s situation) that he could definitely assess and fix her GI bleed. A big THANK YOU to Dr Mcglaughlin.?
