If it were possible to rate a person 1/2 star I would. Encountered Dr. Li at Northwestern, coming thru emergency and ultimately being diagnosed with MG. A rare neuromuscular disorder impacting the muscles. For 1-solid year, starting in August, I was in the hospital every 30 days for at least 2 weeks. Dr. Li never communicated a plan of action, ever determined why he couldn't stabilize my condition, never mentioned collaborating with other physicians who may have had resistant patients. Unlike other reviewers,I've had good experiences with Dr. Li. He's quiet---doesn't talk much---but says what needs to be said. Though he may not directly comment on everything you say, he takes it into account. His quiet, reassuring manner counters the dread disease you may be seeing him for.--and he seems to know a lot about it.
Don't waste your time with this Specialist!!! I have numbness in my right foot, this man stated he couldn't do anything about my numbness. Ok, why not FIGURE out why this occurred. And he doesn't listens to you. You do better writing down your medical issues because you have to continue to repeat yourself. Oh yeah, he'll send you to get several tests and he still will have no answers when he read your results. You are better off diagnosing your body. Please don't waste your time with HIM. Stephanie
