Dr. Zak is a great physician, he and his staff are caring and compassionate in treating their patients. He is very good at what he does, I know he removed a very large pre cancerous polyp. I credit him with helping me prevent getting cancer.
I had the fortunate experience to be referred to Dr Zak by my primary Dr. To say that his approach to my case and his bedside manner was nothing short of exceptional. Following my visit Dr Zak scheduled me for a colonoscopy at the ambulatory clinic in ormond beach. Having great concerns about this procedure which I had last experienced about 12 years ago. Be careful of Sarah… she’s nasty and does not know how to speak with patients! I was very offended by the way she spoke to me on the phone and it was down right disgusting! Doctor was great but he needs to hire more professional staff… absolutely unacceptable! And Sarah just called to apologize stating she knows her delivery is “harsh”????? Maybe you shouldn’t be in healthcare or customer service? I’m sorry if you’re having a bad day but you don’t speak to patients like this and then hang up on top of everything! WARNING RED FLAGS WERE EVERYWHERE. I CAME WITH CRONIC PAIN .Immediately , an endoscopy was suggested. I politely declined and asked for an alternative. ( capsule camera).JZ said "ok set it up with the front desk," then walked out. We could tell this wasn't going to go smoothly. Just a few minutes before, JZ was a happy man .
