She told me that lidocaine, (the generic name for a injectable pain drug), does not cross the blood brain barrier. This is incredibly stupid. Anyone can look that up in two minutes. It can cross the blood brain barrier especially by injection.
Absolutely disgusted by treatment of my 62 year old mother-in-law. She ocame in as a referral today and left completely and totally mortified and embarrassed.
