He saved my life. I have been told my recovery is 1in 30,000.
Great Dr, with a fantastic people skills. But his F/o staff while nice still hasn’t followed up with a referral to a pain specialist as promised. Called at least 5 times, sent email, went by office (they were closed), had my insurance call and still nothing. It’s like they vanished off the face of the earth. Love Dr Halki just don’t like the lack of follow up. And also not sure why the doctor himself could not give me trigger point shots.
Very caring person and doctor his work on me has been excellent in the past.
I can’t say enough wonderful things about the Doc! First- 20+ years ago he operated on my husband’s neck after a drunk driver rear ended him. Even though it was a fusion my husband is still active and pain free today. Now I sought out Dr. Halki to give me guidance as I have a lot of lumbar issues which have been ongoing for many years. I was having them treated with epidurals but was concerned as I was no longer having improvement and was in a lot of pain. Dr. Halki ordered new MRIs and X-rays. Dr. Halki was my surgeon back in early 2007. I came to him with 10 fused vertebrae as a result of my scoliosis surgery at age 13. He fused 3 additional vertebrae to S1 and added bolts in my pelvis to prevent further degeneration. I couldn't have been happier. Over the years I have been mostly pain free and feel confident that it was because I had a great surgeon. Beyond that, he has an awesome bedside manner!
