Dr Hutchings was supposed to help me differentiate between what was physical and what was emotional but instead him and his NP said it was all anxiety and I needed to do deep breathing and yoga (which both hurt after eating but he didn’t care) and told me I don’t have OCD when I went to an OCD/anxiety specialized clinic for weeks to be diagnosed with OCD and NOT generalized anxiety but he just didn’t agree after meeting me for 15 minutes and diagnosed me with anxiety?? I have been to Dr. Hutchings as a psychiatrist as well as a gastroenterologist and he failed me in both disciplines. I went to him as gastroenterologist at the urging of my outgoing gastroenterologist & my NP. I had a chronic issue, but he simply told me to take some OTC meds & never ran any tests. I let this go on for too long with no improvement & Hutchings never veering from his original prescription. Hutchings seemed unfased by how miserable my life was & did not see fit to try to figure out what was causing the problem.... read more
