My ongoing experience with Dr. Schymik has been very good. I was referred by my GP for gallbladder surgery. Dr. Schymik was able to schedule me for the following week, which got me out of pain pretty quickly. He was nice, and apologized several times for running late. His demeanor could be described as rushed, but he spent time explaining the procedure & examining me. I recommend him & the ESA office. Everyone was nice & efficient. Two weeks post-surgery, I feel 100% better.
I was very impressed with this doctor. He immediately sensed the seriousness of my condition and scheduled surgery for the very next day. He was kind,warm and listened to and answered all my questions. I would hope all general surgeons strive to be as professional as Dr. Iglesias is. ????? out of ?????!!!!!!
Very good doctor! I was very comfortable here. The doctor & all staff that were on my case were kind & knowledgable about any questions i had. When i had concerns & needed to be seen i was able to get in the same day. I would recommend any of my family & friends here!

My experience with Dr Schymik & Evansville Surgical Associates was a nightmare. After being told the surgical removal of an unknown mass "went well", I requested a copy of the biopsy report. A few days later the report in the mail told me the mass was malignant & hadn't been completely removed. A 2nd surgery was also botched & covered up. Only through my own diligence did I discover their mistakes & find a new surgeon, otherwise I wouldn't be alive today. I am still haunted daily by all of this
I had an awesome outcome on my surgery. He has done a good job for a long time, He is caring and after 3 other plastic surgeons i picked him and glad I did.
