Dr. John Lowry is extremely condescending, rude, and disrespectful. He spent most of the time being, argumentative, and unpleasant. I was looking for a good listener, not such an authoritarian and disrespectful human. He suggested I find two psychiatrists because he wasn’t willing to prescribe one of my medications. So, according to him, the "extra psychiatrist" would prescribe me the one medication he wasn't willing to prescribe. I highly doubt the insurance company would allow that.
Dr. Lowry didn't show up to the eVisits twice and didn't even bother to call the patient. However he made sure the bill will be sent. Dr. Lowry doesn't care about his patients and has an arrogant attitude when he does show up to the visit. He doesn't have the skills to be a child psychiatrist.
I regret seeing him, he wasn’t helpful whatsoever, he prescribed unnecessarily strong medication for my child. When I tried to ask for his justification about the medication, he was irritated and claimed that he doesn’t have time for this. I wouldn’t see him again.
Awful experience. Does not care for his patients. Prescribed the wrong medications in VERY large quantities. Almost caused more problems from his incompetence and wasted so much time. Seeing a new psychiatrist that has to start from the beginning.
