Dr Sutherland is a skilled surgeon. I was very happy with the emergency surgery results for my father. His laparoscopic sites were clean and healed amazingly well. His PA’s did most of the communicating. At the end of a few days in the hospital I realized that asking to communicate with the doctor was not the way they do things. The PA’s handled the bulk of the patient interaction, allowing Dr. Sutherland to focus on what he enjoys the most, which is surgery itself.
