Absolutely worst Psychiatrist, do not go for adhd
Just noticed these reviews and thought I’d give my version. I’m a patient of Dr Adegboye and like that he’s direct and to the point. It works well for me. I can see that his style might seem less empathetic to some, but that’s not what I’m looking for. I’d recommend Dr Adegboye to people who like getting straight to the point and who prefer direct questions and responses.
For a Dr who is meant to specialize in mental health he seems to lack empathy for the people suffering. He isn’t flexible in his approach and it kind of feels like you are in the principals office . It doesn’t feel like he is finding an approach that suits you as well as him , it’s his way or the highway . And it’s a big chunk of change to leave an appointment in the same position you came in .
Dr Adegboye is very understanding and caring, not warm and fuzzy but practical and very empathetic. I highly recommend him.
It's been about 3 or 4 years now and only now is it truely becoming clear how appalling of a psychiatrist Dr J. A. is. I have Bi-Polar disorder, ADHD and acute anxiety disorder. None of which was diagnosed by Dr J. A, I knew I had ADHD before seeing him, just never had it formally diagnosed or medicated.
