For a Dr who is meant to specialize in mental health he seems to lack empathy for the people suffering. He isn’t flexible in his approach and it kind of feels like you are in the principals office . It doesn’t feel like he is finding an approach that suits you as well as him , it’s his way or the highway . And it’s a big chunk of change to leave an appointment in the same position you came in .
Dr Adegboye is very understanding and caring, not warm and fuzzy but practical and very empathetic. I highly recommend him.
It's been about 3 or 4 years now and only now is it truely becoming clear how appalling of a psychiatrist Dr J. A. is. I have Bi-Polar disorder, ADHD and acute anxiety disorder. None of which was diagnosed by Dr J. A, I knew I had ADHD before seeing him, just never had it formally diagnosed or medicated. I had an incredibly disappointing experience with Dr Adeboye and to be honest, I’m still in shock after the ordeal… From the very first session, John was visibly judgemental despite the fact that I was having a terrible time after the death of my loved one and was seeking professional guidance and help to get through it.
