Did surgery on me 2020 parathyroid gland removed. Went smoothly. I was so afraid I will loss my vocal cords but thanks to Dr.Olsen and team all went well.
Dr. Olson has been my endocrinologist since 2010, when he was at Duke University. Prior to seeing him, I had a private practice endo who wanted to remove my thyroid while pregnant due to suspicious nodules. Dr. Olson said that wasn't necessary, reassured me and waited to biopsy until after the baby was born. Benign! Dr. Olson is the type of specialist that I would drive hours to a different state to see because he's so hard to replace.

What could have been a nightmare of no voice, since my malignant nodule rested directly on top of the nerve to my vocal cords, was not. I had the perfect surgery. And am back to work with a tiny scar in one week. Dr. John Olson is the doctor you want.
