This man performed a neck dissection on me when I was 3 years old. My lymph node in my neck was removed when it turned out I had CSD - something that can be treated through a number of means prior to jumping to the removal of a lymph node. "Surgical drainage or fine-needle aspiration of suppurated lymph nodes is seldom necessary in patients with CSD" and surgery is considered "unnecessary".
