Dr. Barbaruolo is a nice person, and that’s the only good thing that I have to say about this practice. The office is disorganized and stuck in the 1980's. Nothing is digital and the billing is a nightmare. I was advised repeatedly that my insurance company was going to be contacted for approval for a procedure and this was never done. I had to call for weeks on end to get an invoice to send to my FSA company. Laurie, who apparently handles everything from reception to billing, is awful! I have used Dr. Barbaruolo DDS as a Periodontist a few times and am extremely happy with her work. She is very informative, knowledgeable and professional. I highly recommend her!
I have a fear of dentists / periodontist but Dr. Barbaruolo was so nice. She explained everything to me. She definitely helped soothe my nerves. I would recommend her to anyone and I'm sure I'll be back :)
I have been a patient of Dr. Barbaruolo's for...15 years? (who's counting...) I believe the Dr. and her hygienists' expert, patient care has been a Godsend, as has her receptionist Laurie's. I would never go anywhere else, but for the fact that I will be moving to Oregon in the fall. It will be hard to find her equal.
