I do not recommend this Obstetrician. We asked Dr Jillian to put the gender of our baby in an envelope so that we can have an exciting gender reveal party with our close family and friends. This should of been the easiest part of her job. We found out our baby was a boy something we were so excited about. We even had a name picked out and bought clothes but we then found out 3 days later that jillian had made a mistake and put the wrong gender in the envelope. I had such a wonderful experience with Dr. Jillian Spilsbury during my pregnancy. She is incredibly kind, knowledgeable, and patient. As first time parents it was lovely to be under the care of someone that after decades in this profession was still genuinely excited to see our baby at each ultrasound appointment. Jillian was both caring and direct, qualities that both my partner and I value. We can't speak highly enough of Jillian and her team and highly recommend her for anyone looking for a relaxed, friendly and home like feeling when birthing your baby. Jillian goes above and beyond with the care of her patients, always available and will fit you in for appointments (especially during difficult times or if you are stressed/worried). With Jillian my partner and I had the best possible support person for the birth of our first baby. She was never rushed or unable to listen to our concerns and questions, she took on and respected all of our hopes and explained our options. Most importantly, on the day, she made us feel safe and cared for. There is no one I would have rather had in our corner.
