Dr. Hechtman made me feel very uncomfortable and hopeless after informing me that I had to have an emergency surgery. After me asking questions and trying to find options to why she told me the surgery was a 50/50 chance in a very hostile manner. I became very discouraged and alone and wanted to inform my family and see my kids being that I drove myself to the hospital and no one knew what was going on with me. Dr Hechtman delivered our baby boy at St Mary’s and was fantastic! Professional, supportive, compassionate, and listened to our every concern and question. Such an amazing doctor! We’re so blessed to have had such a positive birth experience!
I made my appointment with Dr. Hechtman because I wanted a female and I wanted someone who I would see each time I needed to go in. I recently lost my long time gynecologist so I was looking for someone whom I could count on. I even verified, twice, that Dr. Hechtman would be the person doing my examination.
